China New Energy Chamber of Commerce (CNECC), initiated by a group of top Chinese new energy companies, was established in January 2006 as a not-for-profit industrial organization. Approved by the State Council and registered in Ministry of Civil Affairs, CNECC has more than 2,000 members covering the whole spectrum of technologies and applications in new energy field, such as solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, hydrogen, energy storage, new energy building, new energy vehicles, distributed energy, smart energy, energy saving and efficiency etc.

As one of the most influential new energy organizations at home and abroad, CNECC commits itself to securing the best environment for expanding new energy in China and offering a series of tailored services for its members. To promote industrial exchanges, brand activities like forums, expos and salons are hosted and annual new energy report is compiled. International activities are also arranged regularly. Echoing to its members' need to protect industrial rights and request for supportive policy, CNECC spares no effort to conduct public relations, scientific and technological fruit certificate.
